| While studying about animals, we collaborated with our art teacher, Mrs. Scott. |

| First, we drew our animals step by step to make a pattern on paper. |
 |
| Next we traced the pattern pieces onto cardboard and cut them out. |
 |
| We glued the cardboard pieces together.... |
 |
| See, they look just like the animals we have been researching. |
 |
| We then put them on the drying rack. |
 |
| Now it is time to paint! |
 |
| We have to mix just the right colors to make our animals look real! |
 |
| We paint all the edges too. |
 |
| We are having so much fun! |
 |
| On the drying rack they go. We will come back another day to put on the details. |
