Oak Mountain Field Trip

We had a wonderful trip learning about wildlife in Alabama at Oak Mountain State Park.

Dead logs are homes for insects and bugs.

Our guide told us all about the wildlife rescue center on the Treetop Trail.

We met the birds that Oak Mountain has rescued.

We found living things in the lake too.

 Lunch was great!

 We love having picnics.

We found lots of wildlife on our scavenger hunt.

Look at all of these pine cones.

The animals at the petting farm were very friendly.

Wow! What a great trip!
